The Public Safety & Neighborhood Quality of Life Committee is set to take up the process of creating a marine protected area around Neon Reef. This is a real step forward — and public testimony is what makes the difference.

Here’s how you can help:

• Attend in person and testify. Come to the City Hall Commission Chamber and tell the committee why this reef needs protecting. Planning to speak? Email david@urban-paradise.org.
• Join virtually. Can’t make it in person? The meeting is hybrid — attend on Zoom.
• Email the commissioners. Two weeks before the meeting, we’ll ask supporters to email the committee about this item. We’ll post the details here as the date gets closer.
